About us

Since October 2000, Molo Innovation’s software engineers have thrived on finding clever, innovative ways of solving technology challenges for their clients. Brothers Etienne and Charl Barnard started the company, building on a foundation of their own backgrounds in engineering and research.

Originally Molo Innovation focused on speech pattern and recognition technology, but we have since expanded to offer bespoke software solutions in a wide range of industries. Molo Innovation automates, streamlines or generates new revenue from clients’ technology infrastructure, creating and developing innovative products and systems.

Our clients value our creative and analytical approach to problem-solving and our drive to find new and better ways of doing things. They are reassured by our cutting-edge technical knowledge, old-fashioned integrity, professionalism and family values. We aim to build long-term relationships with all our clients, based on honesty, integrity and reliability.

Sharing risks and rewards

Rather than charging consultancy and development fees, at Molo Innovation we often consider revenue-sharing models, which mean we are as invested in the success of a project as our clients are. This turns relationships into real partnerships and clients are reassured that we are always acting in their best interests.

Our mission

Our vision is to become a leader in technology innovation, particularly in Africa. We aim to empower the people of Africa by giving them affordable access to information via technology solutions that provide world-class accessibility through networks that may otherwise only be available to privileged users with internet access.

Our success will enable us to make lasting, effective contributions to our local communities and the development of our own staff.
