Since October 2000, Molo Innovation’s software engineers have thrived on finding clever, innovative ways of solving technology challenges for their clients. Brothers Etienne and Charl Barnard started the company, building on a foundation of their own backgrounds in engineering and research.

Originally Molo Innovation focused on speech pattern and recognition technology, but we have since expanded to offer bespoke software solutions in a wide range of industries. Molo Innovation automates, streamlines or generates new revenue from clients’ technology infrastructure, creating and developing innovative products and systems.

Charl Barnard holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Rand Afrikaans University and a Masters degree from the University of Pretoria. His specialist areas are computer telephony, computer networks and robust IT infrastructure.

Thabang Malapane has more than 10 years experience in telecommunications and business management having worked in various strategic positions for the then Department of Posts and Telecommunications, Altech Alcatel Telecoms and Thebe Investments Corporation.
